About Josephine County Fairgrounds & Event Center

Today, the Fairgrounds composes of 50+ Acres and is the home of the Josephine County Fair. We have an RV Park, 30 Full Hook-ups and 13 water and electric only hook-ups for over night stays when coming for an event. Our Boarding Stalls can be rented on a monthly basis or overnight for travelers. We have an indoor and outdoor Arena and the Fairgrounds is home for 5 High School Equestrian Teams, Posse, and Training Lessons. We have 3 Dance Clubs, Friends of the Fairgrounds BINGO, Winter Growers Market, Car Swap Meets, Home and Garden Shows, and much more.

We are one of the largest Event Centers in Josephine County and we rent facilities that host many community events. Our buildings host anywhere from 1 to 2,500 people, and our arena and grandstand area up to 4,000 people. Private and public events such as Grants Pass Downs Horse Racing, BMX bicycle events, Rotary’s First Crush, RASCAL (a senior computer class), Veterans of Josephine and Jackson County Stand-Up, RV and new car sales/shows, auctions and swap meets, circuses, horse shows, rodeos, motorsports, concerts, 4-H events, wedding receptions, family reunions, other parties and services, and many other types of events are held here yearly.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide the citizens of Josephine County a high functioning multi-use facility year-round filled with opportunities for education, agriculture, social engagement, entertainment and economic growth while being a resource for emergency response support and enhancing tourism, all while honoring our County’s traditions.

Vision Statement: Our Vision is to continue engaging with our citizens to build a County Fairgrounds that highlights the strengths of our community spirit while securing our value to the community for future generations. We will serve with professionalism and fiscally responsible planning, while building relationships with our community, users, volunteers and County Government.
