Today the fairground composes of 50+ Acres and is the home of the Josephine County Fair. We have an RV Park with a camp Host and 30- Full Hook-ups and 10-13 water and electric only hook-ups. Our Boarding Stalls rent on a monthly basis or overnight travelers. We have an indoor and outdoor Arena. The fairgrounds is home for 5- High School Equestrian Teams, Posse, and Training Lessons. We have 3- Dance Clubs, Friends of the Fair Bingo, Winter Season Headquarters for the Growers Market, Car Swap Meets, Home and Garden Shows, and much more.

We are the largest Event Center in Josephine County and we rent facilities that host many community, our buildings hold anywhere from 10 to 1000 people, and our arena and grandstand area up to 2500 people. Private events and Public Events such as Grants Pass Downs Horse Racing, BMX bicycle events, Rotary’s First Crush, RASCAL (a senior computer class), Veterans of Josephine and Jackson County Stand-Up, RV and New Car Sales/Shows, Auctions and Swap meets, Circuses, Horse Shows, Rodeo, Motor Sports, Music Venues, 4-H Events, Wedding Receptions, Family reunions, and other parties and services, and many other types of events are here yearly. We also have concerts, truck and tractor pulls, and motorcycle events at the Grandstands area.

Starting in 2017 Dutch Bros. has plans to build a regulation Soccer field, practice fields and baseball diamonds in the infield of the horse racing track in front of the Grandstands.

The Josephine County Fairgrounds is staffed by a Fair Manager, (1) Full Time Office Specialist and (1) P/T Office/Maintenance, (2) P/T Maintenance and a Night Watchman/Security. The Josephine County Fairgrounds is governed by the Fair Board which has a Chairman, Vice Chairman, 5 board members and a grant writer for capital improvement.


The mission of the Josephine County Fairgrounds and Fair Board is to provide a year-round, safe, clean, family oriented multi-use facility to strengthen and promote the agricultural, 4H and FFA traditions and the educational, economical, social and entertainment opportunities available to the community. We strive to maintain the Josephine County Fairgrounds in a fiscally responsible, professional manner in order to preserve the assets of Josephine County for future generations by forging good relationships with our citizens, user groups, volunteers and County Government.
