Wednesday August 14, 2018 7:00 pm

GRANDSTANDS 7:00 pm

Fogline 7:00 pm

Fogline has made an impressive impact on locals here in Southern Oregon. They have gone from winning the Battle of the Bands right here at the Josephine County Fair a few short years ago to playing at the County Crossing’s Box Stage to opening for some large name entertainers like Lee Greenwood.

Their drive, original music, and ability to connect with their fans has placed them as one of the premier bands the Rogue Valley has to offer. “It’s our relationship with the fans that drives us…they are in our songs, they inspire us,” says drummer Kyle Stenseth. Their momentum is moving forward as they climb the mountain to success, however as the founding member Dustin Clark states, “Change is inevitable…it’s what you do with it that matters”.Fogline has taken changes in stride and they have strengthened their bond as a band. And their desire to share their music.

Several cross over hits include, “Touch & Go Crazy”, “IOU” and the duet with Barbara Mandrell, “To Me”. An addition AL duet with Suzie Boggus, “Hopelessly Yours”, was nominated for a Grammy.

The CD “American Patriot”, recorded & released in 1992, went Platinum in 3months.

Greenwood’s latest CD is: "I Want to Be in Your World." He wrote three of the seven songs & plays saxophone on the original track, “Here Comes Love There Goes My Heart”.

“God Bless the USA” went far beyond what Greenwood expected when he wrote it in the back of his tour bus in 1983. The song has been in the top five on the country singles charts three times (1991, 2001, and 2003), giving it the distinction the only song in any genre of music to achieve that feat. It was also #1 on the pop charts after 9/11/01.

Greenwood says; “USA is the song I always felt the need to write”. “I wanted to have something that would unite Americans from coast to coast and to instill pride back in the United States. The song represents my family, my community and those men & women who have paid the price for the freedoms we all love & enjoy.”
