Exhibit FAQs
How do I enter my exhibits in the Fair?
Beginning in May, Exhibit Guides will be available and exhibitors can view the divisions and classes offered as well as all the contests.
On June 1st, you can start submitting your entries online (link at the top of this page) or in person at the Fair Office. *online entries preferred when possible.
Entries are due before the first week of August,.
Drop off periods for physical entries will be the Friday and Saturday before the week of Fair. Each department has specific drop off instructions that you can find in the Exhibit Guide.
Exhibits are judged on the Sunday before Fair.
Come to Fair to see your exhibit displayed for the public! Exhibits are displayed all five days of the Fair and admission is free.
Monday following the Fair all entries will be released for pick-up from 11am-6pm. Exhibitors who won ribbons and donor awards will pick these items up during entry pick-up. Exhibitors will pick up their entries from the same location where they dropped them off.
What is a division and a class?
A division is a category within a department. A class is a specific category within a division. For example, the Baking & Candy department has a division for pies. Within the division you can select the class you would like such as apple, custard, lemon meringue.
Who monitors my entry during the Fair?
Department Superintendents and staff monitor the creative exhibits during the Fair. The Josephine County Fair will have security officers on the grounds and will use every reasonable precaution for the preservation of the property but will not be responsible for loss or damage by theft, fire, water damage or assume any liability for accidents to property.
Who judges my entry?
Judges are selected by Superintendents and the judges are experts in the area that they are judging. The decision of the judges (as submitted to the Fair Office) are final.
